What is a AC Technician?

A AC Technician is someone who knows how to fix and maintain air conditioners. They may also be able to provide service and advice on selecting an air conditioning unit for a home or business. AAC Technicians typically have a certification from the National Association of Air Conditioning Contractors (NAACC).

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Applicants must have a minimum of two years experience in an AC Technician position, including one year as a lead technician and one year as an assistant/associate technician.

3. Must be able to read and write fluently in English, possess strong problem solving skills, and have excellent technical knowledge of air conditioning systems.

4.? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to take direction from supervisors when necessary but capable of making independent decisions when needed; good communication and organizational skills?
