What is a AC Technician?

AAC Technician is a certified electrical technician who specializes in repairing and maintaining AC units. They are typically responsible for diagnosing and solving problems with air conditioning systems, as well as providing advice on proper maintenance procedures. Additionally, they may be called upon to provide repairs or installations of new AC systems.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Experience in air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems is desirable but not mandatory.

3. Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and installation principles are necessary for most positions as well as computer literacy skills such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

4 Strong problem solving abilities are a must – technicians often have to resolve complex issues with equipment while under pressure from customers or supervisors.

5 Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods of time

What are the skills required to become a AC Technician?
