What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

1. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Must have at least 2 years experience in an AC installation/repair field is preferred, but not mandatory.

3. Strong mechanical skills are necessary to be successful as an AC Technician; knowledge of electrical wiring and components is also beneficial.

4 Knowledge of basic computer software (such as Windows) will help with technician tasks such as troubleshooting equipment issues and scheduling repairs/replacements accordingly.

5 A willingness to learn new things on the job is essential, since technology changes frequently and technicians must stay up-to-date on industry trends in order to provide quality service for their customers
