1. Excellent problem solving skills – technicians need to be able to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly in order to keep the system running smoothly.

2. Knowledge of electrical systems – technicians need knowledge of how electricity works, which is essential for repairing and maintaining electronic equipment.

3. Experience with electronics - many times when a technician needs access to certain parts or functions on an appliance or device, they will require experience working with electronics– this includes knowing how batteries work, for example!

4. Dependable attitude – because most repairs happen during off hours or overnight shifts, it’s important that techs have a good attitude and are willing handle difficult situations without getting frustrated (or worse).

5. Ability to lift heavy objects - often times when fixing things inside appliances or devices there are lots of screws and other small pieces that must be removed one at a time; having the ability lift hefty items frequently is mandatory if you want a career as an AC Technician!
