A Accounting Clerk is responsible for various accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, maintaining ledger books and records, processing invoices and issuing payments.
1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are required for this position.
3. Experience in accounting software programs is desired, but not necessary for the position of Accounting Clerk.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for success as an Accounting Clerk, as well as computer literacy in MS Office suite (Word, Excel).
