A accounts administrator is a person responsible for maintaining the financial records of an organization. They may also be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, such as billing and invoicing. Additionally, they might manage customer relationships or help to create marketing materials.
A college degree in accounting or related field is required, as well as experience working with accounts receivable and payable systems. Good computer skills are also a must, since the job often requires managing large amounts of data. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for keeping records accurate and meeting deadlines.
1. Strong communication, problem solving and managerial skills are required to be an Accounts Admin.
2. Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is advantageous, but not mandatory.
3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for success as an Accounts Admin.
4. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.) is essential for accounts administration workflows and data management tasks.
5 . Experience with internet-based software such as Google Sheets or Excel Services would also be beneficial
