A Accounts Admin is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the financial accounts of a company. They may also be involved in preparing tax returns, issuing invoices, or answering customer service inquiries.
1. Excellent communication and organizational skills
2. Knowledge of accounting software programs such as QuickBooks or Paypal
3. Strong computer literacy – able to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
4. Experience with handling customer payments/accounts receivable process
5. Proven experience in a financial environment
1. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
2. Good organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deadlines accurately.
3. Knowledge of accountancy procedures, such as bookkeeping and VAT filing duties – essential for any accounts admin role in a business setting.
4 Familiarity with internet search engines (epecially Google) is also beneficial, as it allows you to quickly find relevant information when investigating an error or problem with an accounts system or process).
5 Excellent communication skills are required for most Accounts Admin roles; this includes the ability to liaise effectively both internally within a company and externally with clients/customers/third-party partners etc..
