A Accounts Assistant is a position that helps manage and organize financial records. They may also provide administrative support to the accounting staff.
1. Minimum of an accounting degree from a recognized university or college.
2. Strong computer skills- preferably in Microsoft Office including Excel and Access (or other spreadsheet software).
3. Proven experience working with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial statements.
4. Excellent problem solving abilities as well as meticulous attention to detail; strong organizational skills are required for managing multiple tasks simultaneously efficiently.
