1. Accounts Administration and Bookkeeping: This position will require knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, accounts receivable management, payables management and inventory control. Additionally, an assistant must be able to communicate effectively with clients and staff members in order to handle transactions efficiently.
2. Attention to Detail: An accounts assistant must have a high level of attention to detail in order to ensure accuracy when processing transactions. They should also be able to keep track of complex accounting information quickly and accurately for reports or other purposes as needed.
3. Strong interpersonal skills: An account assistant will need strong communication skills both internally within the company as well as externally with its client base in order smoothly manage transactions without any conflicts arising from misunderstandings or miscommunications between parties involved
