A Accounts Assistant is a position in which an individual assists with the management and organization of accounts receivable, payable, assets, and liabilities. They are responsible for providing support to various departments within a company by managing day-to-day finances. Additionally, they may also be involved in creating financial reports or issuing bank statements.
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant position would have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as experience working in an office setting. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable working with computers and other administrative tools.
1. Strong writing and communication skills, including the ability to draft reports accurately and concisely;
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet application;
3. Proven experience working with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks or Xero;
4. Familiarity with customer service procedures and coping mechanisms;
5. Ability to multi-task effectively
