A Accounts Head is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a company or organization. They are in charge of budgeting, forecasting, and managing accounts receivable and payable functions. Additionally, they may also be involved in decision-making regarding marketing expenditures and capital investments.
1. A degree in accounting or related field is required.
2. Previous experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or financial analyst is preferred but not necessary.
3. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.
4. Strong mathematical abilities are also desirable as many accounts receivable processes require calculations involving percentages and ratios; proficiency with basic algebraic formulas will be helpful here too!
