A Accounts Head is the individual in a company who oversees all financial accounts, including profit and loss statements, cash flow reports, receivables analysis and inventory levels. They are responsible for ensuring that accurate information is presented to management so they can make sound decisions regarding business operations.
1. A accounting degree is required, as well as at least five years of experience in a related field.
2. Strong organizational skills are important, since an accounts head will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of their organization.
3. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential; an account heads job includes leading teams of professionals to achieve common goals within a specific timeframe or budget constraints.
4. Acumen with numbers is key; understanding complex financial data and how it can be used to make informed business decisions is critical for success in this position.. 5 .
