A Accounts Manager is an individual who oversees and maintains the financial records of a company or organization. This person may also be responsible for issuing checks, processing payments, creating reports, and other administrative duties.
1. Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and accounting administration.
2. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
3. Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, and time management skills are essential for this position.
4. Knowledge of computer programs such as QuickBooks is beneficial but not required for the Accounts Manager role at a small business or start-up company
5 A college degree in Accounting or Business Administration is typically required for most positions within an organization that deals with finances
1. Strong financial skills - including the ability to budget and track expenses, understand complex accounting principles, etc.
2. Proven experience managing accounts payable and Accounts receivable collections processes
3. Experience working with budgets or forecasting techniques is a plus
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to effectively communicate with clients, co-workers, vendors/suppliers, etc.?5. Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service
