A Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the overall financial health of a business. This includes ensuring that all accounts are in good standing, preparing and submitting accurate reports to management, and providing support when necessary. A Accounts Manager also may be involved in negotiating loans or other forms of financing, as well as working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
A degree in accounting or business administration is required, as well as experience working with accounts. Additionally, a strong attention to detail and problem solving skills are necessary. Accounts managers typically report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or another senior financial officer within their organization. They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of an organization's finances including budgeting and forecasting, managing cash flow, creating reports and preparing presentations on behalf of the company.
