A Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of their company, including accounting, budgeting, invoicing/purchasing, cash flow management and more. They also help to set strategic goals and create long-term plans for the organization's finances. A Accounts Manager typically has a degree in business or accounting.
A college degree in accounting or business is required. Previous experience as an accounts manager, controller, or other financial position is preferred. Strong writing and communication skills are a must for managing budgets and tracking progress. Knowledge of computer systems and software programs such as Excel are also beneficial. Ability to work independently with little supervision is essential for this role
