A Admin Assistant is a position in which an individual assists the Administrator with various duties and responsibilities. They may be responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting with tasks such as marketing or event planning, providing support to other employees or acting as liaison between departments.
1. A college degree in administrative assistant or a related field is required.
2. Previous experience working as an admin assistant is beneficial, but not necessary.
3. Good communication and organizational skills are essential for the role of admin assistant; attention to detail is also important!
4. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure under pressure is key for success as an admin assistant – be prepared to work long hours on occasion!
5. Being proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and having computer savvy are both helpful assets for this position
