A Admin cum Secretary is an individual who performs both administrative and secretarial duties. They are responsible for running the office smoothly and making sure all important paperwork gets done. They may also be in charge of organizing meetings, keeping track of budgets, or managing customer service inquiries.
1. A degree in Admin or Secretarial Science is typically required for entry-level positions as a Secretary. However, many employers also require experience working in an administrative setting and typing at a minimum of 50 words per minute.
2. Good communication and organizational skills are essential for success as a Secretary. secretaries must be able to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining organized and communicative with their superiors/clients.
3. Typing speed is another important qualification for becoming a secretary; typists should be able to type at least 55 words per minute on average without error or fatigue..
