Degree in internal auditing, financial accounting or financial management (essential). Two years of work experience in an internal audit environment. Two years of fraud auditing experience. Accreditation with the Institute of Internal Auditors. Exceptional accounting skills. Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills. language preferred: Malayalam, English, Hindi

What is a Auditor?

An auditor is someone who reviews and evaluates the financial statements of a company to ensure that they are accurate.

What qualifications are required to become a Auditor?

1. A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.

2. Experience as an auditor may be helpful, but isn't necessary.

3. The Auditor General of Canada requires that auditors have at least five years' experience performing financial audits and obtaining SEC registration or equivalent certification from a foreign regulator if the audit will involve public disclosure of material information about issuers listed on Canadian securities exchanges or registered investment companies regulated by provincial securities commissions in Canada (Note: There are exceptions to this requirement for certain professions such as accountants who hold professional membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales).

4. Candidates must pass an exam provided by the Accounting Standards Board of Canada (ASBC) called "The Auditing Profession Exam." This test assesses knowledge specific to auditing practices including fraud assessment, independence and objectivity, performance measurement methodologies, client care/ confidentiality issues etc.. ASB also provides sample questions from past exams which can be found here .

5 In order to become certified as an accountant one needs To complete 3 years full-time post secondary education following high school graduation plus 2 thousand hours supervised work experience
