Garage Amasi is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Auto/Car Mechanic in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a DIRECT COMPANY with a team of 11-50 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A mechanic is someone who works on cars. They may do things like change oil, check fluid levels, and work on brakes or engines.
1. A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required to become a car mechanic. Some states may also require certification from an auto mechanics association.
2. Many auto mechanics learn on the job, so prior experience working with cars is not necessarily necessary. However, some employers may prefer applicants who have previous experience repairing cars and understanding how engines work.
3 . Auto mechanics must be able to read and understand technical manuals for various makes of vehicles in order to diagnose problems and make repairs effectively; they often need good problem-solving skills as well.
4 . Mechanics usually need strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, patience, accuracy ,and attention to detail in order to properly operate diagnostic equipment and repair damaged parts on automobiles.. 5 .Auto/car mechanics generally receive training that covers everything from basic automotive maintenance tasks such as changing oil & filters or troubleshooting engine issues through more complex repairs such as rebuilding transmissions

We are looking for experienced Service Advisor & Senior Auto Mechanic The Service Advisor manages the technical team on the floor of the workshop. He will be responsible for workshop floor upkeep and training and management of the technical team. Primary Responsibilities of Service Advisor 1. Allocate job cards and monitor the work done. 2. Communicate the time required to complete the task to the service advisor. Offer technical inputs to the technicians, wherever required. 3. Ensure the sourcing of all the parts, spares & consumables required to complete the work. 4. Monitor schedule adherence and take corrective actions in case of time overruns. Communicate any time and cost overruns to the service advisor 5. Manage the quality of work done. 6. Engage, interact & tackle the customer’s complaint on getting serviced his vehicle. 7. Along with the Service advisor, conduct a check on the vehicles information in system, to ensure that all jobs mentioned in the job card have been completed as per quality guidelines. 8. In case of any discrepancies, vehicle to be returned to the floor for rework job. Reschedule the service scheduling chart in case of rework and communicate the same to the service advisor. 9. Take trials of the vehicle to understand customer concerns / complaints better or to diagnose the cause of the problem 10. Carry out complaint resolution as per the guidance of the CRM/ CRE 11. Lead, coach and mentor all the technicians. Job Description of Senior Mechanic: • Completing preventive maintenance, conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical parts of German, American, European & Japanese car brands. • Engine Overhauling • Gear Installation • Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems. • Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing. • Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
