What is a Auto/Car Mechanic?

A car mechanic is a person who specializes in repairing and maintaining vehicles. They may work for an auto dealership, or privately. A typical job duties of a car mechanic include diagnosing issues with cars, performing repairs, checking fluid levels and other systems, and ensuring that the vehicle meets safety standards.

What qualifications are required to become a Auto/Car Mechanic?

1. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required to become an auto mechanic.

2. Auto mechanics must have good problem solving and critical thinking skills in order to diagnose problems with vehicles and equipment.

3. Automotive mechanics need strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to work on complex machines quickly and accurately while working under pressure.
