A car painter is a skilled tradesperson who applies the same principles of painting to automobiles as they do to other vehicles. The most common areas for auto painters are the exterior and interior surfaces, including doors and trim, engine bay, roofing systems, wheel wells and more. Auto painters use high-quality paints that adhere well to different types of plastic or metal surfaces.

What qualifications are required to become a Auto Painter?

1. A good understanding of automotive paint and finishes

2. Experience in using a spray gun or brush to apply paints

3. Knowledge of auto painting materials and how to use them effectively

4. Familiarity with basic AutoCAD design software

5. Ability to work independently as well as under pressure
