What is a Autocad Draftsman?

A draftsman is someone who can use Autocad to create drawings and models of buildings, bridges, roads, etc.

What qualifications are required to become a Autocad Draftsman?

1. Excellent drafting skills, including the ability to create accurate drawings of structures and objects in a variety of dimensions;

2. Thorough understanding of engineering principles involved in design and construction;

3. Experience using Autocad software for drawing 2D or 3D models;

4. Strong communication and collaboration skills;

5. Proven experience working independently as well as within a team

What are the skills required to become a Autocad Draftsman?

1. Knowledge of basic principles and techniques for drawing objects in a coordinate system.

2. Ability to use various drafting tools and methods independently or as part of a team project.

3. Strong understanding of architectural engineering concepts, including those related to loads, structures, materials properties etc..

4. Familiarity with AutoCAD software features required for drafting (elements such as lines/curves, circles/arcs, paths).

5. Excellent communication skills - able to effectively convey complex drawings and ideas through verbal explanation or electronic file sharing
