A Barber is someone who cuts hair.
A Barber must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years old. They also need to possess excellent customer service skills as well as experience in cutting hair.
1. Must have good hands- Dexterity is a must as they will be handling hair and tools all day long.
2. Knowledge of Barbering techniques- The barber must know how to shave, style hair, use clippers etc., in order to provide the customer with an excellent service.
3.patience and strong work ethic- It takes many hours of practice and training to become a competent Barber - if you're not willing to put in the hard work then this career may not be for you!
4. Strong organizational skills- A successful barber needs great organization skills as they need to keep track of multiple tasks at once (such as shaving customers).
5. Good communication Skills- Being able or unable to communicate effectively can ruin your chances at becoming a successful Barber
