What is a Beautician?

A beautician is someone who specializes in hair and makeup. They can help you look your best both on the inside and out! They will also work to keep your skin looking healthy by providing treatments like facials or massages.

What qualifications are required to become a Beautician?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Experience as a beautician in an upscale salon is preferred, but not essential.

3. Certification from one of the major professional beauty organizations such as The American Academy of Beauty Therapy or National Association of Professional Hairdressers may be desirable.

4 Abilities to use hair products and cosmetics correctly are important skills for a Beautician; many salons offer introductory classes before hiring new staff members.

5 Candidates should have good customer service skills and be able to work independently with little supervision
