Big Stone Contracting Company is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Building Electrician in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a DIRECT COMPANY with a team of 51-200 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A Building Electrician installs, repairs and maintains electrical systems in buildings. They must have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and be licensed by the state. They may also need certification from an organization such as the National Board of Fire Underwriters (NBFO).
-A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a tradesman setting, such as carpentry or plumbing.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
-Ability to read and write English well enough to understand instructions given verbally, see drawings/blueprints, and complete work assignments.
1. Knowledge of electrical wiring, components and systems
2. Experience installing or repairing wires and cables in buildings
3. Good problem solving skills
4. Ability to read schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot problems
5. Strong safety awareness
