What is a Car Polisher?

A car polisher is a tool that is used to polish the exterior of a car. It uses rotating discs with abrasive particles to remove scratches, blemishes and oxidation from the surface of the vehicle.

What qualifications are required to become a Car Polisher?

1. A minimum of two years experience in a car detailing business is required.

2. Knowledge and understanding of the mechanics and care necessary for polishing cars is essential, as well as an ability to apply proper techniques while working with a buffer, DA sander or rotary tool.

3. Excellent hand-eye coordination and steady nerves are also key traits - many Car Polishers work quickly and continuously on small surfaces near moving parts within vehicles.

4. Being able to read markings on paintwork will help identify areas that need extra attention prior to start; often times this includes panels around windows, mirrors & headlights etc., which can be more prone to scratches than other parts of the vehicle due to their proximity & visibility from outside the car!

5 Having good communication skills both verbal (in explaining what needs doing) & written (an accurate job log/report at completion), along with being organized & detail oriented are all important qualities for any successful Car Polisher
