Noon is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Chiller Technician in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a DIRECT COMPANY with a team of 1000+ employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A Chiller Technician is a person who assists in the installation, operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems. They are responsible for ensuring that equipment functions properly and keeping it clean. A Chiller Technician may also be required to troubleshoot malfunctions or repairs on refrigerator units.
Some of the qualifications that are typically required to become a Chiller Technician include: experience working with refrigeration equipment, strong math skills, knowledge in refrigerant theory and practice, good communication and problem solving abilities.
1. Knowledge of refrigeration principles and practices
2. Ability to read, interpret and follow technical drawings or blueprints
3. Experience with various types of mechanical equipment used in the cooling industry including compressors, fans and chiller units
4. Strong knowledge of safety procedures governing the use of mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
5. Good problem solving skills

Chiller Technician Job Duties: • Operating and maintaining chillers and cooling tower equipment to ensure that they are working properly • Inspecting the mechanical equipment in facilities to ensure proper operation • Performing routine maintenance on chillers and cooling towers, including cleaning and repairing pumps, compressors, and evaporators • Maintaining records of equipment use for billing purposes • Installing new cooling equipment when needed • Determining the appropriate size of a system based on the size of the building or facility and its cooling requirements • Repairing small mechanical breakdowns such as leaks or clogs in pipes • Monitoring the operation of chillers and cooling towers to ensure that they are operating within safe limits • Determining when repairs are needed and coordinating with contractors who perform the repairs.
