Job Description

Carries out preventive maintenance of Refrigeration and Air conditioning equipment and systems. Repairs faulty Refrigeration and Air conditioning equipments. Assist in verification Refrigeration and Air conditioning spares purchased/supplied Troubleshoot Refrigeration and Air conditioning equipments malfunction, diagnose problems and perform maintenance on Refrigeration and Air conditioning equipments.

Salary ranges will depend on your skills and experience. You can expect a starting salary of AED 1500, which could go up to a monthly wage of AED 1800.

What is a Chiller Technician?

A Chiller Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of chillers in a manufacturing or commercial setting. They may operate, maintain, repair or replace chillers in order to ensure continued production. A Chiller Technician must have knowledge of chilled water engineering principles as well as Chillermanagement software programs such as SAP. Additionally, they must be able to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings related to chilling equipment.

What qualifications are required to become a Chiller Technician?

1. A degree in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technology or related field is required.

2. Must be licensed by the state in which they will work.

3. Must have experience working with chillers of all types and sizes from small commercial units to large industrial ones .

4. They must be able to operate machinery safely and efficiently .
