What is a Chiller Technician?

What qualifications are required to become a Chiller Technician?

1. A minimum of 2 years mechanical experience is required to become a Chiller Technician.

2. Experience in the refrigeration and HVAC industry is desirable but not necessary, as training will cover both systems.

3. A willingness to learn and work independently is essential; technicians must be able to understand complex diagrams and schematics quickly, troubleshoot issues on their own, and stay up-to-date with changes in technology or regulations affecting the cooling industry.
