Prizm Energy is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Chiller Technician in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a DIRECT COMPANY working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A Chiller Technician is a person who repairs, installs and maintains chiller systems in commercial or industrial facilities. They work with chilled water to prevent food spoilage and maintain the temperature of goods that are being stored or processed.
1. Certification as a Chiller Technician is typically required by employers.
2. In order to become certified, technicians must have at least an associate's degree in engineering or technology and two years of experience working with chillers.
3. Some states require certification for certain jobs, such as refrigeration engineer or technician positions.
4. It is important to be familiar with the different types of chiller systems and their components in order to properly service them and maintain optimal performance levels .
5. A good understanding of thermodynamics is also helpful when servicing chillers
1. Knowledge of refrigeration systems and how to repair them
2. Experience with cooling equipment, including chiller units
3. Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot problems
4. Strong problem-solving skills, especially when it comes to resolving mechanical issues
