They are a DIRECT COMPANY with a team of 51-200 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A Chiller Technician is someone who installs, repairs, and maintains chillers in a commercial or industrial setting. They may also be responsible for educating employees on the proper use of chillers. A Chiller Technician typically has a four-year degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent field.
1. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Basic knowledge in refrigeration and air conditioning systems is needed, as well as experience with chillers.
3. Ability to read and understand technical manuals is necessary, along with experience troubleshooting problems on chillers.
4. Must be able to use common hand tools and equipment associated with chiller maintenance such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers etc..
5. Good physical stamina and attention to detail are essential for this career field
1. Knowledge of cooling systems and components
2. Experience working with refrigerants, gases, and pumps
3. Familiarity with safety practices for chilling processes
4. Excellent problem solving skills
5. Ability to read schematics
