What is a Chiller Technician?

A Chiller Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing chiller systems. They may also be required to troubleshoot problems with the system.

What qualifications are required to become a Chiller Technician?

1. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required to become a Chiller Technician.

2. Basic knowledge in refrigeration and mechanical engineering are desirable, but not necessary for the position.

3. Must be able to work independently as well as part of team environments with quick reaction time and attention to detail needed for this career field

4. Demonstrated experience working on HVAC systems including chillers is desired

5 . Experience using computers proficiently (Microsoft Office)
