What is a Civil Multi Technician

A Civil Multi Technician is a person who has training and experience in both carpentry and masonry, as well as painting. They are able to provide a wide range of services related to these three disciplines, which can be very helpful for clients.

What qualifications are required to become a Civil Multi Technician

1. A minimum of an associate's degree in a related field is required.

2. Certification as a civil multi-technician (masonry, carpentry, painting) from an accredited organization such as the National Association of Home Builders or The Associated General Contractors is preferred but not required.

3. Familiarity with common construction tools and equipment including hand and power saws, drills, hammers, chisels and screwdrivers is helpful but not essential for this career path.

4. Good organizational skills are important because technicians often work on small teams during home repair projects - being able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing is key here!
