What is a Cleaner?

A cleaner is someone who cleans the inside and outside of buildings. Cleaners may clean floors, walls, ceilings, windowsills and other surfaces.

What qualifications are required to become a Cleaner?

1. A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

3. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work long hours in a fast-paced environment with few breaks (typically 6am – 10pm).

4. Excellent communication, organization, problem solving, teamwork skills are essential for this position as well as good physical stamina (able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time).
