What is a Cleaner?

A cleaner is a person who cleans any type of environment. They may clean offices, homes, schools or even hospitals. Cleaners usually wear uniforms and are often required to have special certification in order to work in specific environments.

What qualifications are required to become a Cleaner?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Experienced cleaners are preferred, but no experience is necessary as long as the individual has a positive attitude and good work ethic.

3. The ability to read and understand basic English instructions is essential, along with strong cleaning skills and attention to detail in order to maintain cleanliness within designated spaces/ areas of an establishment .

4.. Must be able to pass a criminal background check (if applicable).

5. Cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, buckets etc must also be possessed by potential cleaners in order for them join the team

What are the skills required to become a Cleaner?

1. Proven experience cleaning in a professional setting

2. Strong attention to detail and ability to clean quickly and efficiently

3. Excellent problem solving skills - able to identify and solve problems while working on the floor

4. Work well under pressure - be able to keep up with fast-paced work schedules, often requiring short breaks between tasks

5. Must be physically fit for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and walking long distances
