Dietech is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of CNC Operator in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a DIRECT COMPANY with a team of 11-50 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A CNC operator is someone who uses computer-aided engineering (CAD) and control systems to create parts or products from a design. The person controls the movement of a machine tool using instructions sent through software, making it possible to produce precision objects quickly and efficiently.
1. Knowledge of computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software and machine tools, including milling, turning, drilling, slotting and tapping;
2. Excellent manual dexterity in the use of hands and fingers to operate machines;
3. Strong math skills involving fractions, decimals and percentages;
4. Ability to read blueprints or other technical drawings accurately enough to follow instructions for fabricating parts;
5. Proven experience running a CNC machine tool
The skills required to become a CNC Operator vary depending on the level of training offered and experience. Generally, however, an operator needs good manual dexterity and precision when working with hand tools as well as some knowledge about computer-aided design (CAD) software. In addition, operators must have strong math skills in order to understand how machines work and be able to accurately communicate instructions to them.
