What is a Coating Supervisor?

A coating supervisor is a professional who oversees the coatings process on products. This includes ensuring that all required coats are applied correctly and in an appropriate amount, as well as monitoring product quality during the coating process. Additionally, this person may be responsible for safety concerns associated with coatings such as emissions and flammability.

What qualifications are required to become a Coating Supervisor?

1. A coating supervisor should have a degree in chemical engineering, materials science, or related field.

2. They should be able to design and perform coatings tests on products to ensure proper application of the coating solution.

3. They must be familiar with various types of coatings and their properties such as adhesion, glossiness, fluorescence, etc..

4. The coating supervisor must be able to work closely with other team members during the manufacturing process in order for all coatsings requirements are met successfully .

5. Finally they should have strong problem solving skills
