What is a Cold Storage Technician?

A Cold Storage Technician is responsible for maintaining the temperature and humidity levels in a cold storage facility. They also make sure that all equipment is functioning properly so products can be stored safely.

What qualifications are required to become a Cold Storage Technician?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Experience in the field of cold storage is a plus, but not necessary.

3. Must be able to read and write English well enough to understand instruction manuals and safety guidelines.

4. Strong math skills are needed as calculations involving temperature readings, weights, etc., can be very complex at times (elements in equations may involve thousands of numbers).
