What is a Construction Manager?

A construction manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, budgeting, scheduling and execution of a project. They ensure that all aspects of the construction process are conducted in an organized and efficient manner while meeting deadlines. A construct ion manager should have strong leadership skills as well as experience working on large scale projects.

What qualifications are required to become a Construction Manager?

1. A degree in construction management or a related field is required.

2. Experience managing projects on a large scale is preferred, but not necessary.

3. Knowledge of structural engineering and mathematics are essential for the position.

4. Strong organizational abilities are also needed as the Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing crews and coordinating work schedules with other departments within an organization such as Architecture, Engineering, Purchasing etc..

5 Good communication skills are highly desirable as Construction Managers must work closely with both internal and external stakeholders
