The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating compelling content across various domains, coupled with a deep understanding of the news landscape in both English and Hindi languages. Responsibilities: Write well-researched, accurate, and captivating news articles in both English and Hindi languages. Stay updated with the latest news and trends across diverse domains, including but not limited to politics, technology, entertainment, sports, and more. Craft headlines and subheadings that grab readers' attention while accurately summarizing the content. Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm ideas for new content, features, and innovative storytelling formats. Edit and proofread articles for grammar, spelling, clarity, and consistency. Ensure that all content adheres to the company's editorial guidelines, style, and tone. Optimize content for SEO to enhance visibility and engagement. Maintain an awareness of competitive news apps and platforms to identify areas for improvement and differentiation. Engage with readers by responding to comments and feedback when required. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience as a Content Writer with a focus on Sports content, preferably with 3-4 years of relevant experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hindi languages. Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling and well-structured news articles. Familiarity with current events, news trends, and issues in India and globally. Knowledge of AP Style or similar editorial guidelines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines. Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for storytelling. Proficiency in content management systems and basic understanding of SEO best practices. Preferred: Candidates from North India with an understanding of regional nuances and preferences. Experience writing for digital platforms or news applications. Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in news distribution. Demonstrated ability to cover news stories across different domains.
