FRESH AND LIGHT RESTAURANT is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Continental Cook in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a DIRECT COMPANY with a team of 11-50 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A Continental cook is someone who specializes in cooking French cuisine. They may also be proficient in other European cuisines, such as Italian or Spanish. Some Continental cooks work at hotels and restaurants while others own their own businesses. Continental cooks often have years of experience working with specific ingredients and techniques, which gives them a unique perspective when it comes to food.
1. minimum two years of culinary experience
2. ability to work independently and as part of a team
3. knowledge in European cuisine, including French, Italian, Spanish and German cuisines
4. strong sense of detail and accuracy when preparing food items
1. Ability to follow recipes and cook dishes from a variety of European countries
2. Knowledge about different types of food, cooking methods, ingredients etc
3. Highly organized and able to plan meals ahead in advance
4. Skilled at working with large groups in a kitchen setting and being able to communicate effectively with them
5. Passion for French cuisine
