A Control Technician is a person who oversees and manages the overall operations of a manufacturing or production plant. They work with machines, equipment, and other workers to ensure that products are created on time and within budget. A Control Technician may also be responsible for monitoring systems throughout the factory to ensure they are running smoothly.
A Control Technician should have a degree in engineering or technology, experience working with computers and an understanding of electrical systems. They also need to be able to read and understand technical manuals.
The skills required to become a Control Technician include strong math and science abilities, experience with computers, knowledge of electrical wiring and systems, good problem solving skills.
