What is a Cook?

A cook is someone who prepares food in a kitchen. A cook may work as part of a team or independently, and might perform various tasks such as preparing ingredients, cooking meals, cleaning up after meals, or serving customers.

What qualifications are required to become a Cook?

1. Some cooking experience is helpful, but not necessary.

2. Ability to read and follow recipes is essential for most cooks.

3. Familiarity with kitchen tools such as a stovetop, ovens, and pots/pans are helpful skills for many cooks.
