A counter salesman is a salesperson who works at the retail store to promote and sell products. They usually work in close proximity to customers, which allows them to quickly respond to any questions or concerns that may arise. Counter salesmen are commonly assigned specific areas of the store where they can focus their efforts on generating more business for the company.
1. A minimum of 2 years sales experience is required to become a Counter Salesman.
2. The Counter Salesman must be able to effectively communicate with customers and sell products/services.
3. Prior knowledge of computer software programs, such as Excel or Word, may be beneficial in the role ofCounter Salesmen/.
4. Excellent customer service skills are essential for success as a Counter Salesman-.
5. Must have strong interpersonal communication ability and possess excellent problem solving abilities
