A crane operator is responsible for operating a large, heavy machine. They are typically required to have strong safety skills and be able to read gauges quickly in order to make quick decisions.
1. A Crane Operator must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. They must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects with minimal effort.
3. They need good hand-eye coordination, as they will be operating the crane manually from time to time.
4. Previous experience working with cranes is also helpful, but not mandatory for employment as a Crane Operator .
5.. Finally, Crane Operators are generally required to pass an extensive safety certification exam
The skills required to become a Crane Operator generally include strong manual dexterity, good problem solving ability and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Additionally, operators must be able to read and understand blueprints or schematics of their equipment, as well as have experience operating cranes in close proximity to other large structures.

The Job Opportunity The supervision of the Customer Service Representative team to ensure the safe delivery of a reliable, world class façade cleaning and BMU operations. Key accountabilities • Supervision and control of façade cleaners’ movements and ensuring they adhere to predetermined schedules. Able to assess and implement changes to minimise delays or disruptions. • Lead by example, a team of Customer Service Representatives in the provision of a safe, reliable, world class customer focused service • Liaise with Maintenance Team to ensure availability of façade cleaners. • Report incidents, failures or events that impact on safety or service performance to the line manager. • Inform the line manager of any operating conditions that deviate from normal conditions • Manage and modify, when required, the schedule timeframe to cater for unexpected events • Assist the Line manager in the co-ordination and monitoring of Rope Access and BMU work requirements What we are looking for in our candidates • A mature proactive and responsible approach to work with initiative and problem-solving capability • Good literacy, numerical and analytical skills • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently • Strong organisational skills Specific requirements • Ideally a degree holder or higher diploma of post-secondary education in a related discipline • Understanding of façade cleaning operation controls such as staff supervision, train regulation, manual route setting • Understanding of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook • Ability to liaise in a professional manner with staff at all levels within the organisation • Ideally holder of a UAE driving licence • Minimum 3 years’ experience of front-line customer service façade cleaning operations role.
