A crane operator is a person who operates a large, heavy machine that helps move materials or people. They may be on one side of the equipment, controlling it with levers and ropes, or they might stand at the top overseeing everything as it moves around.
1. A crane operator must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate heavy machinery.
2. Crane operators must be physically fit and capable of working long hours in hot weather conditions.
3. Crane operators need good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail, as well as strong safety skills.
4. Crane operators typically undergo extensive training before being allowed to work on high-rise structures or dangerous cargo operations.
5 .Crane operators are often required to possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written
The skills required to become a Crane Operator vary depending on the type of crane being operated. However, all operators need strong manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination in order to operate a crane safely. They also need knowledge about how cranes work and must be able to read blueprints or drawings in order to understand how the machine functions. Finally, most operators must have extensive safety training in order to avoid accidents

The Job Opportunity The supervision of the Customer Service Representative team to ensure the safe delivery of a reliable, world class façade cleaning and BMU operations. Key accountabilities • Supervision and control of façade cleaners’ movements and ensuring they adhere to predetermined schedules. Able to assess and implement changes to minimise delays or disruptions. • Lead by example, a team of Customer Service Representatives in the provision of a safe, reliable, world class customer focused service • Liaise with Maintenance Team to ensure availability of façade cleaners. • Report incidents, failures or events that impact on safety or service performance to the line manager. • Inform the line manager of any operating conditions that deviate from normal conditions • Manage and modify, when required, the schedule timeframe to cater for unexpected events • Assist the Line manager in the co-ordination and monitoring of Rope Access and BMU work requirements What we are looking for in our candidates • A mature proactive and responsible approach to work with initiative and problem-solving capability • Good literacy, numerical and analytical skills • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently • Strong organisational skills Specific requirements • Ideally a degree holder or higher diploma of post-secondary education in a related discipline • Understanding of façade cleaning operation controls such as staff supervision, train regulation, manual route setting • Understanding of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook • Ability to liaise in a professional manner with staff at all levels within the organisation • Ideally holder of a UAE driving licence • Minimum 3 years’ experience of front-line customer service façade cleaning operations role.
