A dishwasher is a machine that washes dishes by using water and detergent.

What qualifications are required to become a Dish Washer?

1. A person must have a strong back and be able to lift heavy objects.

2. They must have good hand-eye coordination and know how to use their hands properly in order to wash dishes correctly.

3. They should also be able to read and understand directions well, so they can properly do the job assigned them by the dishwashing crew leader or supervisor.

4.. They need experience washing dishes; if not, training will be provided on the job prior thereto starting as a Dish Washer apprentice/apprentice helper). Lastly, they should posses good oral communication skills as dishwashers often communicate with guests while cleaning their dirty plates etc) .
