What is a Driver?

A driver is someone who drives a vehicle. They are responsible for getting passengers to their destinations safely and quickly. Drivers also have to be aware of traffic laws and keep an eye out for other drivers on the road.

What qualifications are required to become a Driver?

A valid driver's license is required. A good driving record and a vehicle that can hold the required amount of passengers are also helpful. Safe driving practices, such as obeying traffic laws and avoiding distractions while behind the wheel, are essential. In some cases, pass a written test or road skills evaluation.

What are the skills required to become a Driver?

1. Ability to read and understand traffic signs and signals.

2. Possession of a valid driver's license or state identification card.

3. Knowledge of the highway system in your area, including different types of roads, lanes, turnoffs etc..

4. Safe driving skills – being aware of surroundings at all times while travelling on the roadways, braking smoothly for turns and avoiding sudden movements that could cause collisions (i.e., consulting rearview mirror regularly).
