What is a Driver?

A driver is someone who uses a vehicle to transport people and/or goods. Drivers may work for private companies, public transportation systems, or as employees of trucking firms.

What qualifications are required to become a Driver?

In order to become a driver, someone must have a valid drivers license and be at least 18 years old. Furthermore, the person must pass an approved driving test and possess proper safety equipment such as seat belts and helmets. Finally, the individual must undergo additional training in order to increase their knowledge of traffic laws

What are the skills required to become a Driver?

1. Knowledge of traffic laws and how to safely drive in a variety of conditions.

2. Strong attention span and focus while driving, as well as the patience needed for long drives or interstate travel.

3. Excellent manual dexterity - must be able to operate all vehicle controls smoothly and accurately both at slow speeds and during sudden maneuvers.

4. Good vision while driving, including being aware of nearby vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and other obstacles on the roadway ahead; Drivers should also have good peripheral vision so they can see around corners quickly enough 。

5 . Exceptional communication skills - it is essential that drivers are able to verbally communicate with others involved in roadways (passengers/drivers alike), stay calm under pressure when communicating with dispatch centers about emergency situations
