What is a Finishing Carpenter?

A finishing carpenter is someone who completes the final touches on a project, such as installing doors and windows or putting together furniture. They may also be responsible for completing other small tasks that weren't originally part of the job description but have been added by the customer.

What qualifications are required to become a Finishing Carpenter?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Must be able to read, write and understand basic math concepts in order to complete work instructions and calculations correctly.

3. Basic knowledge of geometry, trigonometry and anatomy are necessary for construction tasks such as framing and trimming joints between pieces of woodwork together properly; experience installing cabinets or other furniture may also be helpful when completing installation projects on homes or businesses.
